PostPilot

PostPilot — social media management: plan, schedule and publish your posts from one place.

PostPilot is a web application for scheduling and publishing video content to social media accounts you own or manage. You connect each account through the platform's official authorization, choose where every post goes, and confirm before anything is published live.

  • Official platform APIs and OAuth authorization
  • Nothing goes live without your explicit confirmation
  • Interface in English and Romanian

How it works

Four steps from a finished video to a published post.

  1. 1

    Connect your accounts

Authorize each platform on its own sign-in page. PostPilot receives only the permissions you approve, and you can disconnect an account at any time.

  2. 2

    Add your videos

Upload a video and write the caption, or import several posts at once from a CSV or Excel file.

  3. 3

    Choose platforms and time

Select the connected accounts for each post and pick the publishing date and time. Platform options, such as TikTok privacy, are set in the same place.

  4. 4

    Confirm and follow the result

Posts run in simulation mode until you confirm live publishing. Afterwards PostPilot shows the status of every post and, when the platform provides it, the link to the published video.

Features

What PostPilot does for the accounts you connect.

  • One calendar for every account

Scheduled and published posts for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube in a single calendar.
  • Bulk planning

Import many posts at once from a CSV or Excel file instead of entering them one by one.
  • Text adapted per platform

Keep one caption for every platform, or write a separate version where it makes sense.
  • Safe by default

Simulation mode and an explicit confirmation before live publishing; temporary platform errors are retried automatically.
  • Team approval

An optional review step with comments, so a post goes out only after it has been approved.
  • Clear results

Publishing status, links to published posts, and reports with the metrics each platform makes available.

Who it is for

Businesses and teams

Companies that manage their own brand accounts. Several people can work in one organization with roles (owner, administrator, member) and an optional approval step before posts are published.

Independent creators

Creators who publish the same videos on several platforms and want one calendar for all of their own accounts.

PostPilot is meant only for accounts you own or are authorized to manage.

TikTok integration

PostPilot uses TikTok's official developer platform: Login Kit to connect an account and the Content Posting API to publish. This is how the integration works today.

Connecting an account
You sign in on TikTok's own authorization page and approve two permissions: user.info.basic (basic profile, to show which account is connected) and video.publish (to publish the videos you send from PostPilot). PostPilot does not request access to your TikTok video list or analytics.
Post settings
When you choose TikTok in Create Post, PostPilot asks TikTok for the connected account's current options and shows the account's nickname. You choose who can view the video from the options TikTok allows (there is no preselected value); comments, Duet and Stitch stay off unless you turn them on, and options turned off in your TikTok settings cannot be enabled. A video longer than the account's maximum length cannot be confirmed, and by posting you agree to TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation.
Publishing
Videos are sent with the Content Posting API (Direct Post). PostPilot then checks the publishing status with TikTok and shows the result of each post in the app.
Your data
Access tokens are stored encrypted on the server. Disconnecting the account in PostPilot deletes the stored tokens, and you can also remove PostPilot's access from your TikTok settings.

Current limitation

Until the PostPilot app passes TikTok's audit, TikTok publishes posts made through the API with private ("only me") visibility and the account must be private. You can change a video's visibility from the TikTok app after it is published.

Access and sign-in

PostPilot accounts are created by invitation: there is no public sign-up. Team members join an organization through an invitation from its owner or an administrator.
